Earth Day 2019 is an event observed annually on April 22. It is a day held to demonstrate and promote environmental awareness and calls for the protection of our planet. Today, Earth Day, 2019 is celebrated in more than 193 countries each year.

- The theme for the World Earth day in the year 2018 is “End Plastic Pollution Countdown to April 22”.
- The theme for the World Earth day in the year 2017 was “Climate Literacy and Environment”.
- The theme for the World Earth Day in the year 2016 was “Trees for the managing the Earth Resources”.
In songs and verses, stone and dance,
from ethnic tribe to modern sage;
Atlantis, Gleaners, the Renaissance,
in every age the same Earth’s language.
It binds Nature and Man in a treaty,
through time immemorial 'til ignored;
cloaked by progress, greed and enmity,
Nature pinned by man’s cruel sword.
Civilization we raised all in its name:
seven billion plus ensconced in a village;
homogenization the global game,
the Good Life in gentle pillage.
Where's the world in every living thing
and Heaven in Earth’s bounty?
Infinity in birds and kites flying,
And eternity in peace and unity?
